VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — Two suspects were arrested Tuesday after they allegedly stole a Corvette at gunpoint in Central Florida.
According to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to reports of a carjacking around 3:47 p.m. on South Thompson Street in DeLand.
The victim told authorities that he’d been robbed and his black Corvette was stolen at gunpoint.
A short while later, around 4:32 p.m., deputies located the Corvette and found a Glock with an extended magazine inside the car and another handgun on the ground nearby.
Both suspects were taken into custody.
No other information was released at this time.
