ORLANDO, Fla. — Troopers are searching for a man whose truck they said crashed into an Orange County home without anyone behind the wheel.
Employees at the Dancers Royale strip club said the man was leaving the club in a white pickup truck when he fell out. The truck then rolled over his leg and continued on without him into a house nearby, knocking out a porch.
A man living in the house that was hit by the truck said his mother was sleeping on the other side of the wall. He said the impact from the crash knocked her onto the ground, causing an injury to her neck.
The man did not want to be identified but said he’s thankful for a ditch in front of his house that slowed the truck down. Despite the truck owner’s injury, he walked away from the scene.
Troopers said he left his ID at the strip club, so they know who he is. They did not immediately release a description of him.
