LOS ANGELES (WCMH) – Investigators are still searching for the flight attendant who ran from the Los Angeles International airport as her carry-on bags full of cocaine were about to be inspected.
Police say when she ran from TSA officers she left behind 60 pounds of cocaine and her designer shoes.
Authorities told NBC News, that the flight attendant had just landed at Los Angeles when she was pulled aside for a random search by TSA officers.
After being asked to show her employee identification, the woman was escorted to a secondary screening area. It was there that she made a brief phone before she ran from officers and dumped her luggage as well as her designer Gucci shoes.
Investigators told NBC News, the woman’s bag contained 60 pounds of cocaine.
Los Angeles Airport Police, the LAPD, and the Drug Enforcement Administration are continuing to investigate and are still searching for the woman.THE STORIES OTHERS ARE CLICKING ON:
