A fire truck known as Irving Fire Blocker 8 earned its name Sunday morning.
While on the scene of an accident, Blocker 8 was used to protect Irving Police Department personnel when someone crashed into it.
All first responders and police are okay however, Blocker 8 will definitely need some repairs. No word on any injuries to the driver.
