GIBSONTON, Fla. (WFLA) — A mobile home in Gibsonton was destroyed by fire on Monday morning.
The flames broke out on Alavista Drive just after 8 a.m.
Hillsborough County Fire Rescue crews responded and found heavy fire and smoke coming through the roof. Firefighters attacked the fire from outside due to the age of the home and the size of the fire.
Crews faced several hazards while battling the flames. Officials say live power lines on the ground prevented them from attacking flames on one side of the home. TECO was called to the scene to assist.
The fire was under control within two hours.
No injuries were reported, but the home is a complete loss.
Investigators are working to figure out what caused the fire.STORIES THAT OTHERS ARE CLICKING ON-
