President Donald Trump’s personal attorney Michael Cohen is” under criminal investigation, according to the Justice Department.
CNN reported the news on Friday.
The US attorney in New York asserted raids on Cohen’s home were authorized by a federal judge to seek evidence of conduct “for which Cohen is under criminal investigation.”

The searches covered Cohen’s home, hotel room, office, safety deposit boxes and electronic devices, according to CNN.
Attorneys for Cohen filed a temporary restraining order in the matter.
CNN reports Cohen did not appear in court Friday morning.
