WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. (WFLA) — The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office has located a car they believe is connected to a shooting at a golf club in Wesley Chapel on Sunday.
Photos of the apparent suspects and the car they were in were released by the sheriff’s office late Sunday night. Deputies are still searching for the suspects.
500 people were at a party at the Quail Hollow Golf and Country Club on 6225 Old Pasco Road, when investigators say someone fired a gun and injured an unidentified victim. Deputies first reported that two people were injured, but only one person was injured in this incident, according to an update.
Another person at the scene was cut on the hand with a knife in an unrelated incident.
Late Sunday night, deputies released two photos of the people they are trying to identify. The photos also show the car they were driving, a white Hyundai Elantra with red rims.
The victim’s injuries were non-life-threatening. No other injuries were reported, according to investigators.
