Depression on road closes South Tampa intersection

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Part of a busy intersection in South Tampa is shut down because of a depression in the road.

The depression appeared at the intersection of MacDill Avenue and Barcelona Street. Earlier Friday workers could be seen pouring dyed water into the hole. This is one of the methods to locate a break in a sewer line.

One southbound lane is open at the intersection.
