CLEARWATER, Fla. (WFLA) – A Clearwater neurosurgeon has been charged with sexual battery on a female patient. Dr. John Drygas was arrested at his home around 6:40 a.m. on Wednesday.
The alleged incident occurred in July 2015 at the Florida Spine Institute, 2250 Drew Street in Clearwater.
Drygas, 47, is charged with one count of sexual battery. He was released on $50,000 bond Wednesday afternoon.
