Citrus County detectives confirmed the identity of the Crystal River murder victim and announced the charges for the 17-year-old suspects Thursday.
According to CCSO, the man found dead in a hot tub in the house on North Griffith Avenue in Crystal River is Stephen Gorney, 54, the homeowner.
Detectives said, that Bryan Robinson and Tyzick Walls, both 17, severely beat up Gorney and left him in his own hot tub for some time.
The teens ransacked the house, took cash, stole a van and two motorcycles, according to CCSO. The teens are charged with first-degree murder, armed robbery and four counts of grand theft.
