An aquarium worker in New Caledonia hugged a leopard shark and gave it a belly rub. Their encounter was caught on video.
The worker was cleaning the tank in the Des Lagons Aquarium in Noumea, when the shark approached him. When it got close enough he hugged it and even rubbed its belly.
The aquarium officials said the shark often engages keepers in a harmless way.
