During the search for the teens, crews located the boat and several personal things that belonged to the boys. The capsized vessel had been recovered on July 26 off the coast of New Smyrna Beach, more than two hours north of where the boys were last seen two days prior. The boat was inspected by a Coast Guard rescue swimmer and marked with a beacon, but was not immediately secured. A salvage crew went out to secure the boat the same day it was discovered, but by the time they arrived on scene 12 hours later, the vessel was gone.RELATED: Coast Guard: Boat belonging to missing Florida teens also vanishes

Saturday morning April 23, FWC officials confirmed that the boat was discovered again, about 100 miles off the coast of Bermuda.

The boat was found in March by the multi-purpose supply vessel Edda Fjord en route to Norway. Officials said they had notified the parents of the missing boys of the discovery. The boat and all the personal belongings on board will arrive in the US in a shipping container and will be returned to the boys’ parents.
