BRADENTON, Fla. (WFLA) – Tampa Bay’s beloved manatee “Snooty” is a world record holder… again!The 68-year-old manatee is listed as the World’s Oldest Manatee in Captivity in the Guinness World Records 2017 Edition. 

Snooty was born on July 21, 1948 and currently lives at the Parker Manatee Aquarium at the South Florida Museum in Bradenton.

He was the first manatee born in captivity.
