TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – A group has announced plans to bring the Trump baby balloon to Orlando ahead of President Donald Trump’s rally in Orlando.
“WE DID IT! BABY TRUMP IS COMING TO ORLANDO! With 167 small-dollar donors in under 24 hours, we raised enough funds to bring Baby Trump to Orlando!!” reads the headline on a GoFundMe page dedicated to the balloon.
The large blimp depicts the president as a pouting baby with an orange complexion and tiny hands. It has appeared in cities all over the world, including London for the presidents UK state visit, and may fly during the president’s Independence Day speech in Washington.
Trump is holding a rally in Orlando on Tuesday, where he’s expected to announce his re-election campaign.
The fundraiser to bring the blimp to the vent surpassed its $3,500 goal. The group says additional funds raised will be used to distribute water to volunteers, some of whom will be standing guard around the balloon.
