Kitten stranded in tree, rescued by Largo fire crews

LARGO, Fla. (WFLA) — A kitten stranded in a tree was rescued by a brave firefighter with Largo Fire Rescue on Friday.

Fire officials said Station 39 rescued that cat found in a tree at Somerset Apartments, located just off Wilcox Road.

The photo shows Probationary Firefighter Zach Ondich coming down from a ladder, after rescuing the animal, in what they called a “PURRfect SAVE.”
