UPDATE | The Amber Alert issued for a 13-month-old boy in Ilinois has been canceled after police say his disappearance was a lie. 

The Illinois State Police shared a post on Facebook, saying Peoria County Sheriff Brian Asbell said the whole story was fabricated.  One person is in custody in connection with the incident. An investigation is ongoing.

ORIGINAL STORY | A 13-month-old boy is missing in Illinois after three people stole a car he was in.

An Amber Alert is being issued for Bentley Dutz.

Bentley has blonde hair and was last seen at a Circle K in Farmington wearing a yellow and white Bob the Builder onesie with a blue hood.

The stolen vehicle is a gold 2000 ford Taurus with license plate AT70987. The child was in the back seat when the vehicle was stolen. There are three suspects, one being 24-year-old James T Jackson, a black male who was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and white jeans. He is described as 5’9′, 201 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. 

The two other suspects were not identified but described as a 19-year-old black male wearing a yellow Reebok hooded sweatshirt and a 20-year-old black male wearing a white hooded sweatshirt.
