Strong demand for Prime Day deals appears to have overloaded Amazon’s website on Monday.

Thousands of customers reported the site was down Monday just minutes after the site launched its major promotion Prime Day, which offers Prime members deals on thousands of items.
The app shows a dog and the words, “Uh-Oh. Something went wrong on our end.” Users reported getting a new dog each time they tried to log in.
As of 4 p.m. Monday, the website DownDetector.com shows some 15,000 reports of issues.
Amazon has not said what the cause of the issue might be.
