ANCHORAGE, Alaska (WFLA) – Five people are dead and another person is missing after two floatplanes carrying cruise-goers collided in Alaska on Monday, according to NBC News.
Royal Princess Cruises confirmed to NBC News that four cruise-goers and a pilot were killed.
The planes were carrying 14 passengers between them. They collided about eight nautical miles from Ketchikan, Alaska, according to NBC.
Ten people involved were rescued by a passing ship. Three are in serious condition and one victim is in critical condition, a hospital told NBC News.
