WAUSAU-RHINELANDER, Wis. (WFLA/WAOW) – A young boy battling cancer saw his firefighter dreams come true.
Lincoln Schrock is filled with questions and excitement, like many 3-year-olds.
Unlike most 3-year-olds, Lincoln is battling stage four cancer.
He was diagnosed just days after he turned 3.
On Thursday, “Love Your Melon,” an apparel brand that helps kids with cancer, worked with a fire department to make Lincoln’s dreams come true.
“This is something he’s going to be talking about for years. Firefighters are his heroes,” said his mother.
