Less than 30 minutes later, a 36-year-old Miami man was bitten on both hands while surfing. He was taken to the hospital for treatment, authorities said.
The third bite happened just before 1 p.m. A 16-year-old surfer was bitten on his thigh. His injuries were described as minor.
