SARASOTA, Fla. (WFLA) – A young man is recovering after being shot twice in a drive-by shooting earlier this week. Now, police need your help finding the suspects.
Investigators said the shooting happened in the 2000 block of 28th Street just before 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
Police only have a vague description of the two suspects believed to be between the ages of 16 and 20. Witnesses say the men were last seen driving in a faded blue or purple Chevy Cavalier with a moonroof.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where he underwent surgery. His condition was not immediately known.
Police do not believe this was a random act of violence.
