Police say cocaine with a street value of about $274,000 was found hidden inside a load of pineapples in Spain, CNN reports.
The fruits, which came from Costa Rica were seized at a fruit and vegetable market in Madrid.
Each pineapple was emptied and filled with a cylinder coated with wax to cover the drug’s odor, CNN reports. Then the 147-pound haul was hidden inside the cylinders.
Police said seven people were arrested in Madrid and Barcelona.
