TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — SpaceX launched an Indonesian communications satellite from Cape Canaveral on Tuesday.

The company sent up its Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Base for the Telkomsat Merah Putih 2 mission. A replay of the launch can be viewed in the video player above.

Falcon 9 will carry a communications satellite into space before returning to Earth and landing on the Just Read the Instructions drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean.

The “second stage,” which contains the satellite, will continue on and is expected to reach geosynchronous orbit about 33 minutes after liftoff. The satellite is operated the telecommunications company Telkom, which is owned by the government of Indonesia.

The two-hour window for Tuesday’s launch began at 3:11 p.m. According to forecasters at Patrick Space Force Base, there was a near-zero percent chance that the launch would be delayed or cancelled due to weather.
