Walt Disney World will increase ticket prices starting next year

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — If you are planning a trip to Walt Disney World next year, you will be paying more to get into the parks.

After 2025 tickets went on sale Tuesday, the resort’s website showed that prices for a single-day admission ticket went up by $5 to $20, depending on the day and the park chosen.

For example, here is a look at the single-day ticket prices for Aug. 1 in 2024 and 2025.

Theme park2024 ticket price2025 ticket price
Magic Kingdom$169$179
EPCOT$154$174
Disney’s Hollywood Studios$159$174
Disney’s Animal Kingdom$144$154

This year, Disney World’s lowest ticket price is $109. Starting next year, the lowest starting price for a ticket is $119.

According to the theme park’s website, the cheapest time of the year to go to the parks is in late August and September.

Disney’s website didn’t show any increase for annual passes. Those prices increased in October 2023.

The last time Disney increased date-based ticket prices was in 2022.

Late last year, Universal Orlando announced that it would be raising its ticket prices. Disney’s new ticket prices for 2025 will match Universal’s prices, with tickets costing between $119 and $179 per day.
