Head towards the Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks on June 9, 10, and 11, 2017 to celebrate Greek heritage and culture at the family-friendly Opa!Palooza Greek Festival, being held at the Historic Sponge Docks of Tarpon Springs.
The event will feature live music with Ellada all day on Friday and Sunday, Odyssey on Saturday afternoon and Steve-O’s Battle of the Bands on Saturday night starting at 5PM. Scattered throughout each day will be authentic Greek dancing, seminars on sponge diving as well as Greek cooking demonstrations. Listen to stories by published author Demetra Lecourezos, and take a guided Sponge Docks tour that offers sampling at various shops and restaurants. You will also find an array of art and craft vendors, food, pastries, spirits, roaming historical Greek characters, food and wine tastings, and much more….all Greek-style of course!
