It’s been seven years since scientists first captured video of a giant squid, and up until now, none have been spotted in American waters.
But recently the elusive deep sea creature was spotted only 250 miles off the coast of Tampa. Dr. Heather Judkins, a Professor from USF St. Pete, was on the research vessel when they made their discovery.
