June is Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) awareness month, with a day dedicated to PTSD on June 27.
According to Webster’s, PTSD is a mental condition that can affect a person who has had a very shocking or difficult experience and is usually characterized by depression, anxiety, etc.
Veterans tend to be exposed to more triggers than civilians, making them the perfect target for PTSD.
