Gov. Ron DeSantis holds press conference at Daytona State College

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis was at Daytona State College on Wednesday to announce the opening of a new monoclonal antibody treatment site in Palm Coast.

The governor was joined by FDEM Chief Medical Officer Dr. Kenneth Scheppke, and a number of others who shared their monoclonal antibody treatment success stories.

There are now 25 monoclonal antibody treatment centers in Florida, according to the governor.

The governor also discussed his fight to ban mask mandates in schools before a judge ruled to allow mask policies and removed the automatic stay from the previous order.

“I don’t think he’s going to lift the stay,” the governor said before the judge’s ruling.
