TAMPA (BLOOM) – Metro Diner Managing Partner, Brian McNeff, joined Gayle Guyardo, the host of the global health and wellness show, Bloom, making grilled salmon teriyaki bowls.

Salmon Teriyaki Rice Bowl

Grilled Salmon drizzled with a sweet teriyaki. Served over seasoned white rice and a veggie mix of shredded carrots, red cabbage, roasted corn, green peppers, and onion.

Instructions for Teriyaki Salmon:

  • Use fresh, not frozen Salmon
  • In medium skillet, sear Salmon skin side up on medium-high heat (~350 degrees) for 3 minutes
  • Flip Salmon and cook for an additional 2 minutes or until your Salmon has reached your preferred doneness
  • Add teriyaki glaze on top of Salmon and simmer for 20-30 seconds (or until teriyaki sauce is warm)

Instructions for Rice:

  • Choose and prepare your favorite white rice
  • Sauté or cook vegetable medley of choice. We use shredded carrots, red cabbage, roasted corn, green peppers, and onions.
  • Mix cooked rice and vegetable medley

Place Teriyaki Salmon over cooked rice and veggie and enjoy! For added flavor, add extra teriyaki glaze or sauce as needed.
