MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Following an epic Elite Eight and a week of buildup, the men’s basketball Final Four is finally here.
Michigan State is the regular, making its eighth appearance in the national semifinals of the NCAA Tournament under coach Tom Izzo.
The Spartans will face Final Four newbie Texas Tech and its oxygen-sucking defense. That game is scheduled to tip at 8:49 p.m. ET,
Virginia, the only No. 1 seed left in the bracket, will test its impenetrable pack-line defense against the volume-shooting Auburn Tigers, who have poured in 3-pointers throughout the tournament. Those two teams will battle in the day’s first game at 6:09 p.m. ET.
