Linnie Supall is an Emmy nominated and award-winning journalist.
She was also recognized as the ‘2022 Multi-Media Reporter of the Year’ by the Florida Association of Broadcast Journalists.
Staying true to the Sunshine State — Linnie Supall is delighted to embark on a new adventure as a reporter for WFLA.
Her hometown isn’t too far away! She made the move from West Palm Beach and is excited to explore Florida’s famed beaches on the west coast.
Having the opportunity to report in a top 15 television market has been a long-term career goal and a dream come true for Linnie. She’s honored and humbled to represent the Tampa Bay area with the promise of capturing the region’s growth and history with distinction.
Prior to her move, Linnie spent three years reporting for WPTV, the NBC-affiliate in West Palm Beach. She covered a series of national stories spanning across the South Florida region including the deadly condominium collapse in Surfside and the sentencing trial for the confessed Parkland school shooter.
Linnie was born in Miami and graduated from University of Miami with honors. She was an intern for NBC Miami and the executive producer for ‘UMTV Today’, the on-campus morning television show.
Over the years, Linnie has become passionate about drawing attention to the disparities in the community and takes a solution-based approach to her reporting.
She’s a member of the Florida Association of Broadcast Journalists, National Association of Black Journalists Political Task Force, and National Press Foundation.
