Kevin Accettulla joined the WFLA digital team in May 2023.
He comes from WFLA’s sister station, WBTW, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where he led their market-dominating digital team.
He graduated in 2018 from Slippery Rock University with a degree in Digital Media Production, where he developed journalism skills, learned web coding, and design.
Kevin won a Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters award in 2019 for Outstanding Television Feature with a piece he shot and edited while working at WTAJ in Altoona, Pennsylvania. He’s a news hound that enjoys being informed, digging deeper, and asking questions.
As a tech nerd, he always has some kind of technology in hand, whether it’s a phone, camera, or computer. Outside of work, you can find him learning about new technology, playing videogames, watching sports, listening to music, traveling, and playing pickleball. He also tweets a lot.
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Kevin is a huge Pittsburgh sports fan. Go Steelers!
Kevin is a natural competitor, a team player, and is glad to be a part of the News Channel 8 team.
