TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – The Tampa Police Department is searching for a woman who stole an elderly woman’s wallet and used the victim’s credit card to purchase more than $1,000 worth of items.
According to police, the suspect stole the wallet out of the woman’s purse while she was shopping in a Publix on South Dale Mabry Highway on April 5.
The woman used the victim’s credit card to make purchases at a nearby Walmart.
Anyone who recognizes the suspect in the video is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
Anonymous trips may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $3,000.
