CLEARWATER, Fla. (WFLA) – Police said a 30-year-old woman was killed in a drive-by shooting in Clearwater Sunday night.
The shooting occurred in the 1500 block of Scranton Avenue.
According to detectives, the woman was inside a Nissan Sentra with multiple others when someone opened fire around 8:15 p.m. Her name has not been released at this time.
Police believe the suspect was driving a white vehicle, possibly a Cadillac.
Belleair Road is closed between Myrtle Avenue and MLK Avenue as police continue to investigate.
