A suspected burglar said a prayer before smashing his way through a clothing store in New York, and the whole thing was caught on camera.
Video released by the New York City Police Department shows a man remove his hat and make a sign of the cross before he took a brick and smashed it against the store’s glass door several times until it shattered. The incident happened during the height of the latest nor’easter.
Once inside, police say he grabbed 18 items.
Police are hoping someone recognizes the devout burglar who fled the store through a broken window, leaving footprints in the snow.
