The Tampa Bay Lightning arrived in Boston with a brand new series on their hands, a 1-1 split after losing game one to the Boston Bruins.

The Lightning answered in game two Monday night, winning 4-2.

“Going down two games coming to Boston was not a situation we wanted to be in,” center Alex Killorn said in an exclusive interview with News Channel 8.

“We’re happy with the way we played the last game but we realized that it’s going to be very difficult here in Boston with the way they’ve played. It’s a challenge that we look forward to.”

The Lightning did not practice on Tuesday before departing Tampa.

The team will hold its Game 3 skate at 11 a.m. inside TD Garden.
