A woman was killed early Sunday morning after being hit by a car in Tampa, police say.
Tampa police say the crash happened on Broadway Avenue East at Locicero Drive around 5 a.m.
Firefighters pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. She has not yet been identified.
Broadway Avenue was temporarily closed from 68th Street to 70th Street while officers investigated. The roadway has since reopened.
