ORLANDO, Fla. (WFLA/WESH) – Security camera video shows a man desperate to save his car from being stolen.
The owner jumps on the hood, desperately trying to hang on as the suspect takes off.
That led to a police chase.
Police said the suspect lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a church full of children ready for bible study.
“We know these types of things happen so the only thing that we can do is continue to perform our purpose here in the community and do what God has allowed us to do,” said church deacon, Mitchell Thomas.
The suspect got away.
No one in the church was hurt.
The owner of the car suffered minor injuries.
