(WFLA/CNN) – You could soon be able to make it to London in just two hours!
Boeing wants to make a passenger plane that can shuttle customers around the globe at five times the speed of sound.
The aircraft manufacturer says the jet could get anywhere in the world in one to three hours.
With top speeds exceeding 3,800 mph, the trek from New York to London could take two hours.
Currently, that trip takes about seven hours.
Boeing says the concept is still in the early stages of development and it could take 20 to 30 years before it becomes a reality.
