SARASOTA, Fla. (WFLA) – A Sarasota woman happened to be videotaping when a mother raccoon took on a bobcat in a fierce battle in the woman’s backyard.
It happened Monday night around six in a wooded section of Erinn Earth’s backyard
The bobcat and raccoon face each other off in a standoff, then you see the raccoon chase after the bobcat.
The pair go at it for a while and the bobcat runs away and climbs a tree.
Erinn says she sees the mother raccoon with her babies every day. She thinks the momma raccoon was trying to protect them.
