Police released video of a scary close call at a Clearwater stoplight this week.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Chestnut Street and Fort Harrison Ave.
In the video, a car is seen running a red light, narrowly missing a bus and a pedestrian who had started to cross the road.
The Clearwater Police Department did not say whether the driver was cited, but they’re using the incident to warn residents about the dangers of flying through red lights.
“Please, when you see a red light, do the right thing. Stop. It’s a pretty simple process. Otherwise, you’ll be getting a little something in the mail from us,” the agency wrote on Facebook.
