A fishery in Dade City was destroyed in a fire caused by a lightning strike on Friday. 

Pasco Fire Rescue was on scene of the structure fire at Morningstar Fisherman, located on St. Joe Road.

A lightning strike hit the structure, causing the fire.

The building is a total loss.

According to their website, Morningstar Fishermen is an “international aquaponics research and training facility.”
