CLEARWATER, Fla. (WFLA ) – A man died Friday night after he was struck by a car while crossing a road in Clearwater.
The accident occurred in the 2200 block of Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard around 9:50 p.m.
Police said 57-year-old Jeffrey Bickel was not using a crosswalk when he crossed the street and was hit by a car that was traveling eastbound.
Bickel was rushed to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg as a trauma alert and later died.
No charges are pending, according to the report.
