Deputies are looking for two people suspected of shooting a man with a pellet gun in Bradenton Sunday night.
At about 8 p.m., the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 3100 block of Cortez Road West after a man reported being shot by someone in a passing car.
The man told deputies he was walking along Cortez Road when he was passed by a black Chrysler 300 and heard someone yell “boom boom.” Seconds later, another person fired two rounds out of the vehicle, hitting the victim in the leg. The man suffered a welt-like injury, but is expected to be okay.
Deputies are describing the suspects as two black males.
