Voters in Pinellas and Pasco counties can ride to the polls for free this Election Day.

The Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) and the Pasco County Public Transportation (PCPT) are offering free bus rides to the polls on Tuesday, Aug. 28 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

All you must do is show a valid voter information card upon boarding. The PSTA also suggests riders identify their polling place ahead of time.

“We intend on providing free rides to voters on all future elections,” PSTA CEO Brad Miller said. “If we can help get more voters out to the polls and make their day a little easier, then we have served one of our many purposes.”

For help with trip planning, riders can call the Pinellas InfoLine at (727) 540-1900 or the Pasco Supervisor of Elections office at (800) 851-8754.
