Police have brought a new charge against the Largo mother accused of killing her toddler.
Charisse Stinson, 21, is already facing charges of felony child abuse and murder in the death of 2-year-old Jordan Belliveau. Now, the mother is charged with providing false information to a law enforcement agency during an investigation, according to an affidavit.

Stinson reported Jordan missing last weekend, claiming a man named Antwan had given them a ride, then attacked her. When she woke up, Jordan was gone, she told police.
An Amber Alert was issued Sunday but was canceled Tuesday after police said they discovered her story was a lie.
“In interviewing the mother last night, she made significant admissions into what had happened to her child, which led us to have probable cause to arrest her in the death,” Largo police Lt. Randall Chaney said Wednesday.
Stinson allegedly told investigators in “a moment of frustration,” she “struck the victim, her child, in the face with the back of her hand which in turn caused the back of his head to strike an interior wall of her home.”
Then she took him to a secluded area in the woods and hid his body, according to police.
Police said Stinson “continued to mislead the investigation for several days until the victim was found.”
Stinson is due in court Friday to face the new charge.
