The Cleveland Browns’ 19-game winless streak has come to an end, and for hometown fans that means free beer!

Shortly after the win over the Jets was official the Bud Light ‘Victory Fridge’ refrigerators opened and the celebration began.

The fridges were placed across the city and locked, only to be opened when the Browns came away with a win.

Thursday night the browns fought their way to a 21-17 come-from-behind victory over the New York Jets at home, and the locks came off.

But it was a Cleveland police tweet that won the internet after the game ended.

The department tweeted “We WON!!! — Wait… Oh God. The free beer thing… Ok Cleveland. Stay calm. GO BROWNS!!!”

Nearly 21 months had passed since their last win, a Christmas Eve victory over the San Diego chargers in 2016.
