VIRGINIA BEACH (WFLA/WTKR) – No matter how good you are at building sand castles, chances are you’re no match for the sculptors showing off their skills in Virginia this week.
Thirty-two competitors from 11 countries are facing off at the Neptune Festival’s International Sand Sculpting Championship in Virginia Beach.
The official building process starts Friday and runs through Sunday.
Each competitor will start out with 20 tons of sand for their creation.
The sculptures will be available for viewing until Oct. 7.
