Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information on whoever shot a dog in Plant City.
On Sunday, an off-duty deputy found a dog laying in a ditch in the 700 block of Colson Road. It appears the dog was hit by a car. An X-ray revealed she was shot in the leg, authorities said.
“The dog has been named Cupcake due to her sweet demeanor.”
Those with information on Cupcake’s shooting are encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477). Crime Stoppers must be contacted first in order to be eligible for a cash reward.
