In Florida, it’s usually a good day to get out on the green and at the Temple Terrace Golf and Country Club kids are teeing up like pros.
On the links, young ladies’ and gentlemen are able to learn the lifelong game of golf.
The Junior Development Program is designed to teach kids about sportsmanship, honesty, integrity and how to deal with adversity.
There’s also a new program starting to help kids in need get a chance to have access to the sport and lifestyle many may have not thought possible.
WFLA News Channel 8 reporter Lila Gross even tried her hand at mastering the perfect put, with a little help, of course.
